§540. Authority to issue regulations; cooperative agreements; fees; enforcement A. In order to carry out the purpose of this Part, the commissioner may:

(1)Adopt regulations, in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, consistent with the scope of this Part, which are designed to regulate and supervise the activities of financial institutions doing business in Louisiana.
(2)Enter into cooperative, coordinating, or information-sharing agreements with any other banking supervisory agency.
(3)Accept any report of examination or investigation by another banking supervisory agency having concurrent jurisdiction over a Louisiana bank holding company, a Louisiana bank, or a banking office, in lieu of conducting the commissioner's own examination or investigation of such bank holding c
