§911.30. Serial numbers on manufactured and modular homes A serial number shall be stamped by the manufacturer on the header plate or front cross member of the frame so that it can be easily read. It may not contain more than fifteen digits. Any multiple units shall contain the same serial number with letters of the alphabet designating that each is a different separate unit. Starting with the letter "A", each unit addition shall be in alphabetical order. The letter shall be stamped at the end of the serial number.
