§301. Commission and oath The state treasurer shall be commissioned by the governor and before entering upon the discharge of the duties of his office, shall take and subscribe the oath prescribed by the constitution, which shall be indorsed on his commission. His commission shall not be issued by the governor until the bond and surety shall have been given. Acts 1976, No. 428, §1, eff. July 31, 1976.
