§231.2. Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program; benefits; eligibility A.
(1)The department shall develop and administer a temporary assistance program
to be known as the "Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program" (FITAP) which
shall provide money payments to the following:
(a)On behalf of a dependent child.
(b)On behalf of a pregnant woman, if medically verified that the woman is in the
sixth month of pregnancy and if the unborn child would be eligible for family independence
temporary assistance, had the child been born and living with her during the month of
payment.
(2)FITAP assistance shall include money payments to meet the needs of a dependent
child, including payments to meet the needs of the father, mother, stepfather, stepmother, or
