A.The Crime Victims Reparations Board is created and established under the jurisdiction of the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice in the office of the governor. The board shall be domiciled in Baton Rouge.
B.The board shall be composed of the executive director of the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice or his designee, one person, who shall be chosen and appointed by the governor, from a list of three recommendations submitted to the governor by any victim's rights advocacy organization which is recognized as a nonprofit with the Internal Revenue Service, incorporated or organized in the state of Louisiana and in good standing, and does not engage in political activity, with each organization submitti
