§1316. Powers and duties of the corporation

A.The corporation shall, in each instance subject to the prior authorization of the commission, participate in the financial transactions contemplated by this Part. The corporation shall engage in no other business activities except those activities provided for in this Part and those ancillary and incidental thereto. The corporation shall not apply any proceeds of system restoration bonds or system restoration charges to any purpose not specified in a commission order, or to any purpose in excess of the amount allowed for such purpose in the order, or to any purpose in contravention of the order.
