§406. Collection of records
The state archivist may collect and accept records of any format, papers, and
artifacts from agencies or the public, provided that these records adhere to the
mission of the division as provided in R.S. 44:401. The division shall prepare
inventories, indexes, catalogs, and other aids to facilitate the access and use of these
records.
