§1171. Roads established by parochial authorities over state lands All public roads heretofore traced out and established by the parochial authorities of the respective parishes over lands belonging to the state are recognized as such, and the parochial authorities of all the parishes of the state may establish public roads not exceeding one hundred feet in width on the public lands of this state.
