§ 40:1914 — Powers and duties of commission

A.The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Commission is vested with the authority to promulgate rules and regulations governing the storage, utilization, sale or transportation of anhydrous ammonia, the fabrication and installation of systems for the storage and utilization of anhydrous ammonia, and installation of all other anhydrous ammonia equipment as the commission may deem necessary in the interest of public safety. In drafting such regulations, the commission may adopt for its own, in substance, the regulations or standards published by the Compressed Gas Association, Inc. of New York and/or the National Board of Fire Underwriters, or any other such nationally recognized agency.
