Text

A. The State Uniform Construction Code shall:

(1)Require methods of back flow prevention to prevent contaminated water from flowing back into the public water system.
(2)Prohibit plumbing vent systems using air admittance valves.
(3)Require that a trap seal primer valve be installed where a trap seal is subject to loss by evaporation. B. The council shall adopt rules and regulations in accordance with R.S. 40:1730.26(2)(a) to implement the provisions of this Section. Any modifications to the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this Section shall be adopted in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 40:1730.26(2)(b).
