§1666.5. Fireman's Supplemental Pay Board

A.There is hereby created a Fireman's Supplemental Pay Board, hereinafter referred to as the board, which shall consist of seven persons appointed by the governor. Each appointment by the governor shall be submitted to the Senate for confirmation. In making his appointments, the governor shall select three persons who are members in good standing of the Professional Firefighters Association of Louisiana, two persons who are members in good standing of the Louisiana State Fireman's Association, and two persons who are members in good standing of the Louisiana Fire Chiefs Association. The board shall elect a chairman from its membership to serve a two-year term.
