§3086.21. Creation; purposes; definitions; jurisdiction A. There is hereby created a body politic and corporate to be known as Bayou Lafourche Fresh Water District, for the purpose of furnishing fresh water from any available fresh water source, including any ground water and surface water sources to the water purification facilities serving the incorporated villages, towns, and cities along Bayou Lafourche and within or adjacent to the boundaries of the district, as provided in this Part. B. As used in this Part, the following terms and phrases shall have the following meanings, unless the context requires otherwise:
