§2906. Election of officers; record book, public inspection Immediately after the commissioners have been appointed by the Jackson Parish Police Jury, or as soon thereafter as practicable, the commissioners shall meet and immediately organize by electing officers as follows: They shall elect from among their number a president, who shall preside over the meetings of the board and perform such other duties as are usually required of presidents of corporate bodies, and also a vice president, who shall perform the duties of the president in case of his absence or disability. The board shall cause to be kept a well-bound book entitled "Record Book of Jackson Parish Watershed District," in which shall be recorded the minutes of all meetings, all proceedings, certificates, oaths of commissioners
