§2605. Oaths; per diem allowance Before entering upon his official duties, each member of the board of commissioners shall take the oath or affirmation required by Article XIX, Section 1, of the Constitution of Louisiana. Each member of said board shall be entitled to receive, out of available funds of the district, a per diem allowance of forty dollars for each meeting of the board which he attends, but no such allowance shall be paid for more than thirty-six meetings in any calendar year.
