Text

§970. Qualifications of applicants An applicant for a license to practice as a practical nurse shall:

(1)Be of good moral character.
(2)Be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.
(3)Satisfy either of the following requirements:
(a)Successfully complete an education program for practical nurses at a program approved by the board.
(b)Successfully complete an education program for registered nurses at a program approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
