§1951. Creation of South Tangipahoa Parish Port Commission A. There is hereby created a commission to be known as the South Tangipahoa Parish Port Commission which shall be composed of seven members from the parish of Tangipahoa who shall be appointed by the governor for terms of six years as provided in Subsection B of this Section. The members of the board of commissioners shall serve without compensation. The commission shall hold a regular meeting once each calendar month with a maximum of six additional special meetings annually. No more than three meetings may be held in any one calendar month. B.

(1)The term of each member serving on July 1, 2003, shall expire as follows:
(a)The term of any member whose term prior to July 1, 2003, would have expired on October 1, 2003, shall expire
