Text

A.

(1)The LaSalle-Grant Solid Waste Disposal District shall be governed by a board of commissioners consisting of six members.
(2)Three commissioners shall be appointed by the Grant Parish Police Jury. Any or all of the commissioners may be members of the Grant Parish Police Jury, notwithstanding any law to the contrary.
(3)Three commissioners shall be appointed by the LaSalle Parish Police Jury. Any or all of the commissioners may be members of the LaSalle Parish Police Jury, notwithstanding any law to the contrary. B. The terms of the members shall be concurrent with that of the appointing authority. Any vacancy on the commission for any reason shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment and for the unexpired term of office.
