§ 33:7805 — Vacancies; officers, agents, and employees; compensation

A.The members of the board shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing body. A vacancy occurring in the membership of the board shall be filled by appointment in the same manner as the original appointment. Members shall continue to serve until their successors have been appointed and have taken their oaths of office and filed the same in accordance with law.
B.The board may establish and provide for other officers, agents, and employees as it may deem necessary and appropriate for the accomplishment of its object and purpose, and define and fix the duties, terms, and compensation thereof. However, the compensation of the secretary-treasurer of the board shall be limited to a per diem and travel allowance not to exceed the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars per month. If the secretar
