§4600.2. Purpose
The purpose of this Chapter is to facilitate the collection of supplementary funds to
market and promote destinations in the state to provide for increased economic activity
within its traveler economy, including increases in conventions, meetings, visitors, hotel
occupancy, food, beverage and other retail sales, tourism, including cultural and family
tourism, tourism business job creation, tourism economic development, and other tourism
related purposes.
