§447.15. Mayor's court; city of Kenner; additional court costs
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the mayor of the city of
Kenner may also impose additional court costs not to exceed thirty dollars for each offense,
as defined by ordinance, on any defendant convicted of a violation of a municipal ordinance.
Any additional amount in court costs collected pursuant to this Section shall be allocated to
the city of Kenner to be used for the mayor's court security enhancements and technological
upgrades.
