§ 33:3308 — Additional assessment to meet deficiency; enforcement

In the event the local and special assessments originally levied are insufficient to pay the principal or interest or both in any one year, of the certificates outstanding at their respective maturity dates, then the municipality issuing the certificates, through its governing authority, shall levy and collect, at such time as may be necessary, an additional local or special assessment on each lot or parcel of real estate abutting the street, road, sidewalk or alley improved, sufficient in amount to pay in full the principal or interest or both of the certificates at their respective maturity dates. The amounts assessed in the ordinance shall be due and collectible immediately on its passage and if not paid within thirty days from the date of its adoption, the municipality shall proceed ag
