§2476.7. Municipal fire and police civil service board; board secretary; city of Monroe

A.Notwithstanding the provisions of R.S. 33:2476(L)(1)(c), in the city of Monroe, the board may fill the office of secretary for the municipal fire and police civil service board by employing on a part-time basis any person the board deems qualified. The board may pay any such person a salary not to exceed sixteen hundred dollars per month, which salary shall be approved by the municipal governing authority.
B.The duties of the secretary shall be assigned by the board.
