Text

A. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, when Central is incorporated in the parish of East Baton Rouge pursuant to Subpart A of Part I of Chapter 1 of this Title on and after the date the Central Transition District ceases existence, the governing authority of the newly created municipality shall be responsible for the maintenance of any road or drainage maintained by or dedicated to the parish of East Baton Rouge prior to the effective date of incorporation which is located within the boundaries of the municipality. B. Notwithstanding the provisions of Subsection A of this Section, the governing authority of East Baton Rouge Parish shall be responsible for maintaining the following roadways:

(1)Comite Drive from Blackwater Road to the Comite River (0.72 miles).
