A.There is hereby created, in accordance with this Subpart, an interlocal risk management agency to be known as the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police Risk Management Agency, hereinafter referred to as "the agency". The agency shall be in the form of a trust.
B.All powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities of the agency shall be vested in a board of trustees, which shall be appointed by the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police. The board shall have the power to perform all functions necessary to pool liability insurance risks of its member police departments in accordance with the provisions of this Subpart. The board of trustees shall consist of six full-time, professional law enforcement officers appointed by the Louisiana Association of Chiefs of Police and one risk
