§1518. Reckless handling of hazardous materials A. No person shall offer or accept for transportation, load or unload, or transport a hazardous waste or hazardous material as defined in R.S. 32:1502, in a criminally negligent or reckless manner that could endanger human life or health. B. Any person who willfully violates this Section shall, upon conviction, be guilty of a felony and be fined or imprisoned in accordance with R.S. 32:1514(B) or may be subject to a civil penalty in accordance with R.S. 32:1512(A). C.
