Text

A.

(1)No carrier shall transport any hazardous material unless shipping documents describing the lading are provided to the operator of the vehicle prior to departure and shall be carried in the vehicle or combination of vehicles.
(2)The description of lading shall include at least the shipping name, classification, and weight or volume of the material.
(3)The carrier shall make each shipping document available for inspection whenever requested by an officer, employee, or agent of the department. B. If the tractor of a tractor-trailer combination is detached from the trailer, a copy of the shipping documents must be placed in a holder by the left front of the trailer.
