§98.11. Agricultural use exemption
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, nothing in this Part shall
be construed to impact, burden, or impose regulatory requirements or fees upon agricultural
water users. Agricultural water use, including but not limited to irrigation, livestock
watering, and other customary agricultural and horticultural purposes, shall be explicitly
exempt from any regulatory or administrative oversight established pursuant to this Part.
Participation in programs or initiatives established in this Part by agricultural users shall be
strictly voluntary and without a fee.
