§ 3:3301

§3301. Legislative findings The legislature hereby finds and declares that clean water is a vital necessity for the people of our state. The legislature further finds and declares that the establishment of a program for monitoring the presence of pesticides in the waters of this state and for alleviating excessive levels of pesticides in the waters of this state by minimizing, mitigating, and preventing the potential for those excessive levels of pesticides is a reasonable exercise of the police power of the state and is for a public purpose.
