§32. Executive organization; retention of function
A.For the purposes of executive branch organization, the Louisiana Gaming Control
Board is placed within the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, pursuant to R.S.
36:409(I).
B.All authority, power, responsibility, and functions of the board shall remain with
the board and be administered, managed, and implemented without regard to the department
secretary, or other department officers and employees, as provided in R.S. 36:801.1.
