Text

A.The commission shall have as its objective the conservation, preservation and restoration of the historic and cultural resources of Louisiana.
B.The commission shall prepare an authentic cataloged index of the State's historic and cultural resources, which shall include significant landmarks, areas and sites, structures, buildings, cemeteries, artifacts, documents, books, records, manuscripts, maps, fossils and objects of art. A plan shall be developed setting forth the criteria and methods for the preservation and restoration thereof. The plan shall be continuously revised and improved and shall include (1). recommendations to appropriate state departments and commissions, the governor, the legislature and the Tourist Commission, to insure maximum intelligent use of our cultural resou
