§1671. Death reports

A.By the tenth day of each month, the secretary of the Louisiana Department of Health shall send to the administrator a report, certified as correct over his signature or the signature of his authorized representative, containing the name, date of birth, date of death, address, sex, and the social security number, if available, of each person who died in the state within the preceding calendar month.
B.The administrator shall have custody of these reports. Such reports shall be confidential and shall not be considered as public records under R.S. 44:1 et seq. The information received by the administrator shall be used for administrative purposes only and, except for authorized personnel who administer programs and services under the Louisiana Employment Security Law,
