§ 23:1301

Louisiana·Title 23 Labor and Workers' Compensation
§1301. Notice as prerequisite to institution of proceedings No proceeding under this Chapter for compensation shall be maintained unless notice of the injury has been given to the employer within thirty days after the date of the injury or death. This notice may be given or made by any person claiming to be entitled to compensation or by anyone on his behalf. Added by Acts 1983, 1st Ex. Sess., No. 1, §1, eff. July 1, 1983.
