NOTE: Pursuant to R.S. 22:1931.13, this Section terminates on July 1, 2024. §1931.5. Civil monetary penalty In a civil action instituted in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court for the parish of East Baton Rouge pursuant to the provisions of this Part, the attorney general may seek a civil monetary penalty provided in R.S. 22:1931.6 from any of the following:
(1)Any person determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to have violated any
provision of R.S. 22:1924.
(2)Any person who has violated a settlement agreement entered into pursuant to this
Part.
(4)A person who has entered a plea of guilty or nolo cont
