§535. Notice of location of precincts and polling places

A.Establishment and change. When a precinct or polling place is established or changed, notice of its location shall be published by the parish governing authority. The publication shall be in the official journal of the parish.
B.Before primary elections. The parish board of election supervisors shall publish the location of the polling places in the parish at least once before each primary election. The publication shall be in the official journal of the parish during the third week before the primary election. The locations shall be published on the website of the secretary of state. The secretary of state's website shall also include instructions on how a voter may subscribe to receive electronic notifications of polling place
