§523. Americans with Disabilities Act compliance officer A. The secretary of state shall appoint an Americans with Disabilities Act compliance officer to serve at the pleasure of the secretary. The secretary shall fix the salary of the compliance officer. B. The responsibilities and duties of the officer shall include:

(1)To serve as a primary point of contact for election day accessibility issues.
(2)To conduct and issue a biannual accessibility audit; to issue a report of his findings to the secretary, the commissioner of elections, and the Voting Accessibility Advisory Group; and to make the report available on the department website.
(3)To facilitate meetings of the Voting Accessibility Advisory Group.
