§23. State Board of Election Supervisors A. The State Board of Election Supervisors is created and established in the Department of State as provided in R.S. 36:802. The board shall be composed of the following persons:
(1)The lieutenant governor.
(2)The secretary of state.
(3)The attorney general.
(4)The commissioner of elections or a designee of the secretary of state, as
determined by the secretary of state. The secretary of state shall notify the board in writing
of any such designation.
(5)One member of the Clerks of Court Association, who shall be elected by the
membership thereof to serve a four year term concurrent with that of the governor. A
vacancy shall be filled in the same manner for the remainder of the unexpired term.
