Text

A.Each judge of the Twenty-Fifth Judicial District Court may appoint a court reporter for his division, which reporter shall hold office until it is declared vacated by the judge making such appointment.
B.Each court reporter shall take an oath of office and furnish bond for the faithful performance of his duties. The bond shall be in the sum of one thousand dollars and shall be in favor of the judges of the Twenty-fifth Judicial District Court for the purpose of protecting litigants against any acts of incompetency or neglect of duty by the court reporter. The bond shall be recorded and filed in the clerk's office in each of the parishes of the district.
