Text

A. An interested person desiring to be notified of the filing of an application for appointment as curator of an absent person may petition the district court of the parish where the absent person was domiciled at the time his absence commenced for such notice. If the absent person was not domiciled in this state at the time his absence commenced, the petition for notice may be filed in the venue provided in R.S. 13:342l(B). B. A petition for notice shall not be effective unless it is signed by the person requesting notice or his attorney, and sets forth:

(1)The name and domicile of the person requesting notice;
(2)A statement of the interest of the person requesting notice;
(3)The name and mailing address of the person to whom the requested notice shall be given; and
(4)A prayer that
