§1565. Juvenile Court for Caddo Parish; continuous session; quarters; conduct of business; expenses
A.The judge of the Juvenile Court for Caddo Parish having the longest continuous
service as judge of the court shall be chief judge of the court, and as chief judge he shall
exercise the administrative functions of the court, including any such functions prescribed
by the court.
B.The Juvenile Court for Caddo Parish shall be in continuous session throughout
the year; provided, however, that each judge shall be entitled to a vacation of one month
during each year.
C.In the event of a juvenile court judge's vacation, absence from the parish, inability
to serve, or recusation, the judges of the First Judicial District Court may name one of their
number to serve temporarily in his place.
