§ 11:3558 — Morgan City; credit for military service

A.In addition to the provisions of any other law, particularly R.S. 11:3521, any person who is a member of the Morgan City police pension and relief fund shall be entitled to service credit for such pension and relief fund for service in the military of the United States since World War II.
B.Application for credit for such service shall be made and evidence thereof shall be furnished to the board of trustees of the police pension and relief fund at any time prior to application for retirement. In addition, each person claiming such credit shall pay into the fund an amount equal to the employer and employee contributions, at the current rate, together with compound interest thereon at the rate of two per centum per annum on the compensation which the member would have received during the
