Text

A. The board of trustees of the fund for Bossier City shall retire from service in the police department of Bossier City any member of the department found by a majority vote of the board to have acquired a permanent or temporary physical or mental disability while in the performance of his duties, as determined by the report of the department physician, and shall place the retired member on the pension or relief roll. B.

(1)Any member who has completed twelve years of service with the police department of Bossier City shall be vested in the retirement system and shall be entitled to three and one-third percent of his average compensation multiplied by his years of creditable service not to exceed sixty-six and two-thirds percent of his average final compensation and shall be eligible to r
