Text

The district courts shall have jurisdiction to administer, in accordance with the provisions of this act, the property within this state of (a) any person who has disappeared and remains unheard from by the persons most likely to hear from him or her, or (b) any person who is reported by the United States department of defense to be a prisoner of war or missing in action. The word "absentee" as used in this act shall refer to such a person.
