Text
(a)The purposes of K.S.A. 58-4217 to 58-4226, inclusive, and amendments thereto, are:
(1)To ensure that manufactured homes installed in the state of Kansas are installed in accordance with the requirements and purposes of the federal act;
(2)to ensure that persons installing manufactured homes in the state of Kansas are appropriately trained to do so; and (3) to provide for the promulgation of uniform standards which shall be applicable throughout the state to effect the foregoing.
(b)To accommodate realization of the purposes set forth in subsection (a) of this section, the legislature hereby declares its intent to exercise the exclusive power to regulate the installation of manufactured homes and the persons who install manufactured homes, except that municipalities may adopt standar
