Text

All cities of the first, second or third class are hereby given full power and authority to tax, license and regulate persons, firms or corporations engaging in or desiring to engage in public auctions, and shall require a license and charge a fee therefor; but such license fee shall be the amount provided in this act and such cities may provide for penalties for violations of any ordinance relating thereto.
