§ 49-602 — Same; policy statement

Kansas·Ch. 49 MINES AND MINING·Art. 6 SURFACE-MINING LAND CONSERVATION AND RECLAMATION

It is the policy of this state to provide for the reclamation and conservation of land affected by surface mining and thereby to preserve natural resources, protect and perpetuate the taxable value of property, and protect and promote the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of this state.
