Text

The purpose of this act is the development, establishment, and enforcement of standards:

(1)For the care, treatment, health, safety, welfare and comfort of individuals in adult care homes licensed by the secretary for aging and disability services; and (2) for the construction, general hygiene, maintenance and operation of said adult care homes, which, in the light of advancing knowledge, will promote safe and adequate accommodation, care and treatment of such individuals in adult care homes.
