Text

Prior to certifying an adult care home for participation in the state medical assistance program as an intermediate care facility for mental health, the secretary for aging and disability services shall hold a public hearing in the area in which the facility is located. At least 10 days prior to the hearing, the secretary for aging and disability services shall give notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the area in which the facility is located that the facility has applied for certification for participation in the state medical assistance program as an intermediate care facility for mental health and that a public hearing is to be held to obtain public comment in regard to such application.
