Text

An assignment of support rights pursuant to K.S.A. 39-709, and amendments thereto, shall remain in full force and effect so long as the secretary is providing public assistance in accordance with a plan under which federal moneys are expended on behalf of the applicant, recipient or child for:

(a)Temporary assistance for needy families;
(b)medical assistance; or (c) the expenses of a child in the secretary's care or custody pursuant to K.S.A. 38-2201 et seq. or 38-2301 et seq., and amendments thereto, or so long as the secretary is providing support services pursuant to K.S.A. 39-756, and amendments thereto. Upon discontinuance of all such assistance and support services, the assignment shall remain in effect as to unpaid support obligations due and owing at the time of the discontinuanc
