Text
On or before the first day of each regular session of the legislature, the secretary shall prepare and submit to the president of the senate and the speaker of the house of representatives a report of the total amount of moneys expended by the department for medical assistance, the amount of moneys recovered pursuant to K.S.A. 39-709, and amendments thereto, and any recommendations for legislation necessary to insure that the factors or methods used to determine eligibility for medical assistance more accurately represent the resources of an applicant for, or recipient of, medical assistance.
