§ 39-2019 — Certified community behavioral health clinics; certification requirements; medical assistance program funding; deadlines for certification; rules and regulations; certification renewal criteria

Kansas·Ch. 39 MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE·Art. 20 PROVIDERS OF DISABILITY SERVICES
(a)The Kansas department for aging and disability services shall establish a process for certification of and funding for certified community behavioral health clinics in accordance with this section.
(b)(1) Prior to February 1, 2027, the Kansas department for aging and disability services shall certify as a certified community behavioral health clinic only community mental health centers that meet the criteria as set forth in paragraph (3).
(2)On and after February 1, 2027, the Kansas department for aging and disability services shall certify as a certified community behavioral health clinic any community mental health center or qualified nonprofit provider that meets the criteria as set forth in paragraph (3).
